A classic in any interior...

After a fabulously chic weekend of great restaurants, culture and shopping with fairy godmother/Aunt I drove home thinking about 1.) her amazing house that is for sale and 2.) her amazing house that she is about to move in to and 3.) her awesome pair of ghost chairs.

The ghost chair, now knocked off a thousand times over, was the brain child of interior maverick, Philippe Starck. Born in 1949 his career took off like a bolt of lighting when he dropped out of school and started decorating nightclubs in Paris. From nightclubs to hotels to teaming with Kartell to design and manufacturer chic, clever art-like pieces of furniture.

I have yet to find a Starck piece I don't covet but above all the Ghost Chair is my favorite! Launched in 2002 as an updated nod to the 18th century Louis XV arm chair. The chair now comes in 8 different colors (6 transparent and 2 solids) making it the ultimate go with any decor chair.

And to top it off- these see through beauties are amazingly comfortable so they make a great desk chair, dining chair or just occasional chair.

See I told you they go with everything! and anywhere!
